Question 1

Can I preview my video?

Accepted Answer

MuseGen AI offers a free 15-second video preview so you can decide whether to pay based on the result.

Question 2

What is the difference between a membership and credit packs?

Accepted Answer

Both membership credits and purchased credits can be used to create music or videos. They never expire and can be used at any time. A membership offers better value and more credits than buying credits separately.

Question 3

How long can a video be?

Accepted Answer

Videos can be up to 6 minutes long (360 seconds).

Question 4

How many credits does video creation cost?

Accepted Answer

Standard resolution: 2 credits per second. A 100-second video costs 200 credits, approximately USD 4.80.
High resolution: 4 credits per second. A 100-second video costs 400 credits, approximately USD 9.60.

Question 5

Will I lose credits if video creation fails?

Accepted Answer

Credits are refunded if creation of the entire video fails. If individual clips fail to generate, you can regenerate those clips.

Question 6

Which payment methods can I use, and who processes payments?

Accepted Answer

Payments are securely processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1), trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. You can pay with major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, with local options available in many regions. MuseGen never sees or stores your full card details.

Question 7

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can cancel in one click from your account dashboard — no fees and no contracts. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, so you keep everything you have paid for.

Question 8

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If you are charged twice by mistake, or a technical problem stops you from using MuseGen, email billing@musegen.ai within 7 days and we will issue a refund. Other subscription refund requests are reviewed individually and fairly.

Question 9

Will my subscription renew automatically?

Accepted Answer

Yes — plans renew at the end of each billing cycle so your access never lapses. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime before your next charge from your dashboard.

Question 10

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle. There are no hidden fees for switching plans.

Question 11

Do paid plans include commercial rights?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every paid plan includes full commercial-use rights, so you can use your music on YouTube, in games, apps, podcasts, ads, and more. Free-tier tracks are for personal, non-commercial use only.
